Latin Lover is a high energy disco-studio band
from German producers Mark Kramer and Theo Werdin (Scott Marlowe
"Living In Chinatown"). The group had three dance floor hits: "Laser
Light", "Dr. Love" and "Casanova Action" in the mid-80s.
"Casanova Action" is a fine example of how high energy music took 80s dance floors hostage with it's powerful fusion of heavy synthesizers, infectious keyboards and odd-themes.
I have taken the 12" original mix of "Casanova Action" and have given it the ReStructure Mix treatment - adding a few machine-gun loops and new drum breaks. It is truly one of the tracks that made my feet move during its time and is now a classic among club collectors.
