Noel is a disco act created by Ron Mael and
Russell Mael (better know as Sparks). The LP "Is There More To Life
Than Dancing" is the sound of the electronic edge of dance music of
the late 70s heavily influenced by Giorgio Moroder.
"Is There More To Life Than Dancing" is intriguing - not only the theme and title are a bit appropriate for the end of a disco era but the eerie sound of the chorus and synthesizers. Perfect for escape and fantasy.
I have ReStructure the LP version and gave it a bit more of the pulsating synthesizers and bongo loops. If you have any question in your mind about the track - are your feet moving?
