REISSUE: "Passion" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Flirts

REISSUE: "Passion" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Flirts The Flirts are the 80s answer to the synth-pop disco/nu wave dance sound - with the master of 80s dance Bobby Orlando as the conductor. The group emerged in 1982 with their first dance floor hit, "Passion" and lead the way for Orlando to conquer and leave dancers yearning for that rolling synthesizer and rhythmic percussion. The changing trio of chorus divas has left many tracks which have lasted throughout time regardless of their campy and sometimes silly themes. The Flirts have truly managed to keep the camp and beat alive. I have ReStructured their big one, "Passion" into a breakdown of that bass synth and some of the tie-lines of the song to give it an alternative mix. It has always been one I have reached floor to pack the floor and even today cannot get the words "passion" out of my mind once it starts!
