Exposē is Ann Curless, Gioia Bruno and Jeanette Jurado - a pop-dance trio created by producer Lewis A. Martineé. Their success throughout the mid and late 80’s was due to tracks like “Point Of No Return” and “Come Go With Me” - a combination of pop and Latin freestyle. “Let Me Be the One” is from their 1987 project titled “Exposed”. This love song has several wonderful melodies which flow nicely over the heavy street beats and keyboard riffs. It is one of the group's most memorable tracks and has a lasting feel as the lilting harmonies fill in the sweet arrangement.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Let Me Be The One” and moved the track into its focus for a street-beat arrangement for this ReStructure Mix. The keyboards are used in a few places to create a new bridge into the pounding new breaks and eventual fade.
