"Moonlight Madness" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Teri DeSario

• "Moonlight Madness" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Teri DeSario

Teri DeSario created quite a stir with her 1978 initial hit, "Ain't Nothing Gonna Keep Me From You" - this track was written and backed up vocally by Barry Gibb. It was the sweetest love song to hit dance floors at this time. Returning with a follow LP in 1979 titled, "Moonlight Madness" on Casablanca Records.

The project was produced by H.W. Casey (K.C. of the Sunshine Band) and contained more of DeSario's beautiful ballad tracks (including the top 10 hit "Yes, I'm Ready" - a duet with K.C.). "Moonlight Madness" was a mystical sounding medium energy track which would have worked well for an early morning set.

I have taken the track and exposed more of the swirling sounds of the synthesizers and keyboards along with Teri's magnificent and "whimsical" vocal. The new rhythm tracks and "slaps" bring the song a bit more energy.

This one is dedicated to Michael in New Mexico for reminding me of this little gem - it worked then and I believe it works now.
