REISSUE “Get On The Funk Train" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Munich Machine Giorgio Moroder assembled some of the best musicians for many of his early artists (ex. Donna Summer, Roberta Kelly, etc.) and created Munich Machine from these sessions. One of the greatest disco spotlight albums was this album - not only because it featured a side B medley of his own productions with these artists, but also "Get On The Funk Train." This cut was the disco-fied version of what was to come. The best of strings, bass, percussion and vocals. My ReStructure wraps the 15 minute suite into concentrated power mix with some new breakdowns and segues. It was hard not to include the beautiful strings and funky keyboard riffs that pull off a great dance cut.
