9.9 are Leslie Jones, Margo Thunder and Wanda Perry – an r&b trio produced by Richard 'Dimples' Fields in the mid-80s. Their big pop-dance hit “All Of Me For All Of You” from 1985 is a memorable piece with the synthetic funk edge which slams vigorously along with the vocals from these gals. It is a love song full of emotions and also a few moments where the uplifting serenade takes on its own. This one was always a nice number during a funk set or early evening when the floor needed to be ignited.
I have taken the 12” vocal and dub of “All Of Me For All Of You” and re-funked the groove for this ReStructure Mix. There is a longer intro using the groove formulated by the bass guitars and some play with the beats to place this one back on the floor with more evidence of the winning sound it created during its time.
