Soif de la Vie is Christian Krusch, Helmut Wittler, Leo Walter, and Oliver Hardt – a German high energy project from 1984. Their single “Goddess Of Love” became the staple for high energy dance music of the period. The rolling syntheses and heavy jungle drum beats are the pinnacle master of disco music. The theme is sung by vocalist Rosary in a wicked delivery where she gives out the message from her thrown. This one is a fast moving and rhythmic adventure and is no wonder why it was such a favorite in the wee-hours of those big dance palaces.
I have taken the original 12” vocal and instrumental of “Goddess of Love” and re-tamed the track with a new intro for this ReStructure Mix. There are more breakdowns at the fade and again the vocals that rage among the dance floor.
