ReStructure Mix Update (5/8/24):”F.L.M.”” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Mel and Kim

Mel and Kim is Melanie Susan Appleby and Kim Appleby who became one of the successful dance acts from production team, Stock, Aiken and Waterman during the late 80’s. “F.L.M.” is from their 1987 project and became their anthem in many clubs. The track is a celebration of life and the lighter side of the nightlife. The noticeable production from SAW works well with the harmonies these two ladies produce in energy and execution. Many clubs adapted this one as their close to the groove piece and had a very successful run along with several other singles from their project.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “F.L.M.” and recreated the obsolete sound for this ReStructure Mix. The theme is the same yet there is more of the rolling bass and percussion to keep you company on the way.
