Thelma Houston – “Any Way You Like It”
Label: Tamla
Released: 1976
Credits: Producer - Michael L. Smith (tracks: A1, A3, B2)
Great LP from Thelma featuring her classic, “Don’t Leave Me This Way” – give “Any Way You Like It” a chance – it is funky and moves just as well. Some great ballads spotlight Thelma’s well-trained vocals.

From Andrea True Connection, George McCrae and Gloria Gaynor did Diamond have the opportunity to work his magic. A great composer and producer. His style is missed very much. This is his finale chapter in the trio of Bionic Boogie LPs – this came at the close of the disco peak – it was a darker sounding project, if not fitting enough. Although he is not referenced a\in the chorus ensemble, there are many, many traces of Luther Vandross’ majestic vocals. Fantastic guitar work!

Glenn,
This is a WINNER file, as ALL OF YOURS ARE !!!!!!! I love Gregg Diamond and Bionic Boogie All of his releases are just great dancing music. I also love his "SHINING" LP, that was on Mercury. And of course who could forget "STARCRUISING", I think that one calls to you as a restructure MIX ??? This is an Awesome set. Also, Thelma Houston,
she help with Donna to make disco mainstream in my opinion. I love that driving beat from "DON'T LEAVE ME THIS WAY" !!!! I remember, she had another hit that was similar in vain to "DON'T LEAVE ME THIS WAY" called "I'm Hear Again". Why that one never scaled the heights to number one is beyond me. "I'm Here Again" is almost a clone to "Don't Leave Me This Way". Also, is it true that Diana Ross and others turned down,
"Don't Leave Me This Way" ?
Thanks again to our NUMBER ONE DJ !!!!!!!!!
Alan
