"Love Is Just A Heartbeat Away" from the "Nocturna" soundtrack was such a number. Although the film did not last a long as the 2 big disco numbers from the soundtrack (the other being "Nighttime Fantasy" by Vicki Sue Robinson) it was a film that remains an underground rarity. Gloria Gaynor was a the top of her form here. Her vocals exercise a yearning that can be felt throughout this cut. I have taken the track and added a few more breaks and chorus' to express a new emotion. The cut was produced by Reid Whitelaw and Norman Bergen. Many of the musicians where disco's finest included Don Renaldo on strings and horns and The Sweethearts of Sigma on backup vocals.

This is the most AMAZING mix to date. I adore this song. It is my favorite by Ms. Gaynor. It should have been her biggest hit. Unfortunately it got little play and was overlooked. However, if you would have done the REMIX. It would have been her biggest hit. YOU ROCK MAN. You are the NUMBER ONE DJ IN THE USA as GOODY GOODY SANG !!!! ROCK ON BROTHER !!!
