REISSUE: “The Garden” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – ‘Lectric Workers

REISSUE: “The Garden” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – ‘Lectric Workers ‘Lectric Workers is a 1982 Italo-disco project from Franco Rago, Gigi Farina and X. Monneret – a band of producers who gave us the monolith Italian dance track “Robot Is Systematic”. This phase in Italo-disco was a transformation of the disco production to an electronic format with a new edge of energy and sound. “The Garden” is an early high energy piece that points to later songs like “Light A Light” by Peppermint. “Feel good” energy with an uplifting and simple chorus line which gives the groove more of a memorable experience. ‘Lectric Workers created “The Break” in 1982 with their electronic percussion number “Robot Is Systematic” and in “The Garden” takes innovation in the 80’s high energy dance scene to come. A nice bubbly number that plays out like a sweaty night of dancing non-stop to music which is what disco was intended to be. I have taken the 12” vocal and dub of “The Garden” and realigned the energy for this new ReStructure Mix. The synthesizer B-side dub is played out here with a continuous looping of its intent to make us feel good.
