REISSUE: "Without Your Love" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Cut Glass

REISSUE: "Without Your Love" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Cut Glass It was the end of an era of disco music. The contributions that many artists and producers made to music history paid off. In 1980 when disco music seemed to be searching for a way to grow brought about new styles and creativity. Some left over from earlier prospects - in the case of Mildred Vaney and Ortheia Barnes who made up a studio group titled, Cut Glass the work paid off. "Without Your Love" is one of those disco songs that never grow tired. Thanks to the powerhouse vocals of these 2 ladies it is set it stone. In 1979 these ladies worked with producers, Jeffrey Parsons and Jeffrey Steinberg on a project titled Hott City - 2 cuts from this LP ("Peaks and Valleys" and "I Took His Money") were similar to "Without Your Love" single and may have paved the way for the excitement to come. The extended ReStructure is a homage to these ladies and the master minds behind this classic piece.
