REISSUE: “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

REISSUE: “I’m Coming Out” by Diana Ross – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Diana Ross took the 80s as the top “disco treat” in 1980 with her album titled “Diana” – with a production by disco duo, Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers of Chic. The surprise was that the transformation from disco to a funky-“Chic” sound was quite effective and lasting. “I’m Coming Out” is the second hit from the project and is not only a marker for the Diva of Motown to announce her stance as a lasting performer and artist but also a personal anthem for many gay and lesbian pride celebrations for years following its club success. I have taken the 1997 comedy titled “In & Out” starring Kevin Kline, Tom Selleck and Debbie Reynolds. The film was inspired by Tom Hank’s speech during a 1994 Oscar win for his performance in “Philadelphia”. Both move together with the celebratory mood and also the wacky scenes of our main character’s struggle to accept himself, as is. The film was directed by Frank Oz Featuring scenes from “In & Out” – RENT THE DVD! Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Produced by Ken Emmons
