Slotmachine is Günther Eckert and Torsten Hartmann – a German techno ensemble who created the 1992 cover of the Gershon and Kingsley song “Pop Corn”. This techno fused version is a rolling explosion with all of the elements of the 90’s techno period to make it official. The vocoders guiding the musical elements into the fast moving rhythms are the toppings for this dance desert – and for those who cannot get enough of this classic a new fav. Production is like a joust of energy with some breaks that make the outline work as well as ever.
I have taken the 12” version of “Pop Corn” by Slotmachine and reworked the segments as they are new in this ReStructure Mix. There is a longer intro to fade into the song and a few new musical breaks to make the melody echoes out into the slowly fade to robotic heaven.
