Third World is a Jamaican reggae band who fused soul, funk and disco with their rhythms. Their 1978 album “Journey To Addis” contained their single “Now That We Found Love” which also made a big move to the dance floors and gave the band their first disco 12” single. The track is a unifying anthem which takes the elements of reggae and transforms the song into an anthem. Produced by Alex Sadkin and written by the Philly-legendary team, Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff. A big dance treat for those who love the alternative dance tacks.
I have taken the 12” version of “Now That We Found Love” and worked a new ReStructure Mix to pay tribute to Third World and this classic number. More beats and percussion are added to give the rhythm more emphasis. The winded remix uses all of the energy with more love added.
