REISSUE: "Blue Savannah” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Erasure

Erasure is Vince Clarke and Andy Bell – a synth-pop band formed in 1985. Their music brought the mid and late 80s a string of dance floor hits and unforgettable performances. “Blue Savannah” comes from their 1989 album “Wild” – produced by Gareth Jones, Mark Saunders and Erasure. This piece is a beautiful rolling dance track that became one of my favorites since it plays out melodically as well as racing with energy. It was an instant hit with fans and remains one of their memorable moments.

I have taken the original 12” version – both vocal and dub and repaved a new trip to this emotional and heartwarming place. This ReStructure Mix is a play on the keyboard riffs and the main tie line from the song. A heroine who we all know makes a brief cameo to remind us again as Erasure does, there is that place called home where we are given and give the most.
