Crocodile Mark is a pseudo name for the Italian dance project from
Giuseppe Troccoli, Paolo Cocchini and Pino Di Pietro – and their 1992 cover of Elton John’s anthem from the same year are a bass thumping Italo-house piece. The original as beautiful as it lies still remains here as the trio creates only new rhythm foundation with a house bass track and drums guiding this Taupin and John song into a new heaven. This one was a big peak hour track in my club and thanks to the simple but masterful new arrangement the song was kept alive in a whole new way.
I have taken the 12” vocal, instrumental and dub of “The One” and transformed it into a new ReStructure Mix. Giving it more percussion along the path of the build and also more of the nice melodic riffs in its own way.
