Claire Chevalier is a memorable talent from the late 60’s to the late 70’s whose music always gave way to her vocal performances.  There is a meek yet sensual approach to her lyrics and the true essence of a stage magnet. “Mamy Blue” she recorded in in a production by Gay Vaquer. Claire approaches this now classic piece with no fear or holding back. The tale of an estranged mother and child is delivered with the emotion the song was meant to deliver.

I have taken the original 7” version of Claire’s “Mamy Blue” and revisited the track with more production using beats and key effects throughout the new ReStructure Mix. The mood is dug a few deeper with the hard beats and mystical pieces of a Laura Branigan classic.
