ReStructure Mix Update (8/23/22): “Infatuation” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Midnight Passion

Midnight Passion is an Italian dance project from producer Shany with arrangements by Romano Trevisani. “Infatuation” is their 1986 release with takes a basic street sample and blends it into a fierce horn break and plenty of electronic riffs which flow together in a challenge-like fashion. It is one of the crossover pieces which feel like high energy yet leaves behind the energy which Italo-disco presented a few years earlier. This is their second single and gives out the same energy but with more of a stage for the instrumental.

I have taken the 12” version of “Infatuation” and remapped the energy into a new ReStructure Mix. This time around the pieces of this number are given more time to play a foundation for this new arrangement.
