ReStructure Mix Update (4/22/23): “Don Quichotte” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Magazine 60

Magazine 60 is a French disco project from producers Jean-Luc Drion and Dominique Regiacorte. Their projects began as Stars On 45 medley productions in the early 80s and later became a full-group ensemble featuring Marc Delval, Pierre Mastro, Veronique Oliver and Yves Delval. “Don Quichotte” is from their 1985 project titled “Costa Del Sol” and was one of the club favorites of that year. The track has several keyboard riffs which outline the theme in a somewhat humorous yet direct mix-down where choruses and sampled sounds and voices play out in the track. It is one of Magazine 60 and their style from start to finish.

I have taken the album version of “Don Quichotte” along with the instrumental dub and recreated a new ReStructure Mix for this novelty dance floor hit. It uses more of the instrumental as a foundation for the new outline and several edits to serve as breaks and a fade out.
