Liquid Gold is a disco band from U.K. and was produced by Adrian Baker. Their big disco hit “My Baby’s Baby” from 1979 was one of the exciting releases to experience in a discotheque environment as it contained all of the energy that disco had become. “Don’t Panic” is a single released in 1980 which follows along the same lines as the formula which made their sound work. This one is a fast paced song of bewilderment and confusion as our lead vocalist, Ellie Hope goes through a romance on the breaks. It has a dramatic string section which always outlined the pop-disco tracks of the time and a fast moving rhythm section which doesn’t seem to phase or heroine here what so ever.
I have taken 12” vocal and instrumental of “Don’t Panic” and realigned the segments for a new ReStructure Mix. A few added percussion track open and end the new remix and some of the bridges are removed to give a non-stop energy to the flow.
