The Three Degrees are the magic created by The Philly Sound of the mid-70s and along with their big hits “When Will I See You Again” and “TSOP” a landmark group was set. In 1978 a monumental session was created when the girls were produced by disco producer/artist Giorgio Moroder. The first release is “New Dimension” which contained the second half of the side one medley, “Looking For Love” – where this set begins as “Givin’ Up, Givin’ In” ends an unstable relationship and “Looking For Love” sets forth the search for the cure for a broken heart. This project contained The Three Degrees in a motion which literally set them back on the map on dance floors and for another spotlight on stages around the world.
I have taken the album version of “Looking For Love” and created a new ReStructure Mix for homage to the pairing of Moroder and The Three Degrees. A new beat layer is added to give it a new rhythmic section and the girls are divided up in a new way to offer energy new to the track.
