REISSUE: "It's Too Late" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Simone
Simone is a high-energy artist from the early 80s whose first single "It's Too Late" (a cover of Carole King's classic) is one memorable single from the disco sound called high energy. It was produced by Les Hunt who also gave us "Countdown" by Koffie and The Lovetones and "Eat You Up" by Angie Gold. The cover is a fast and flowing dance track with Simone's sweet but defiant vocal. I have taken the 12" remix by Ian Levine and created a new ReStructure Mix focusing more on the gentle keyboard arrangements and pieces of the remix vocal ad-libs for energy and filler. The drums are still there - but are injected in part.
