Roderick Falconer is a glam rock artist from the mid-70's. His second album titled “Victory In Rock City” from 1977 featured the track “Rock City” – which is a tribute to the rock genre and mentioned artist, The Beatles and their contribution at creating rock and roll history. Falconer’s single became a part of the disco single phenomena thanks to it 60’s edge groove and upbeat rhythm. It is one of the pieces that are a crossover during a time when rock and disco could share their identities calmly. This one works for those who love alternate tracks that move like a club anthem.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Rock City” and have re-wired the song for this ReStructure Mix. The fantasy that exists within Falconer’s lyrics playout as The Beatles make their cameo several moments within this mix.
