REISSUE: “The King Of Clubs” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Chocolat’s
Chocolat’s is a disco ensemble produced and founded by Marcel De Keukeleire. Their music was a celebration of dance and always moved to bring satisfaction to feet. “The King Of Clubs” is from their 1976 album and was one of the hidden treasures of the disco scene when it blasted throughout clubs igniting the complete sound of what the dance floor was all about at the time. It contains some of the funkiest rhythm guitar work and also a wonderful flowing chorus. This one is a classic in many senses and only reminds us of the unity and satisfaction of the disco dance floor.
I have taken the album version of “The King Of Clubs” and created a new celebration in this ReStructure Mix. I have added a new beat track and some percussion to make this trip worthwhile.
