Jermaine Jackson is the oldest of The Jackson family and is also one of the successful solo artists of the 80’s. His work from a solo artist beginning in 1972 always displayed another talented man from the Jackson family. His 1980 project titled “Let’s Get Serious” contained another sensational dance track titled “Burnin’ Hot” which plays out just as it sounds. Another winding track with a funky baseline which builds into a rolling break full of energy. Produced by Jermaine and has some wonderful riffs which hold up the works where his success in the latter part of the 80’s gets real.
I have taken the album version of “Burnin’ Up” and rewired a new ReStructure Mix taking complete control over the breaks and flow of the new remix. There are several new segues into drop breaks and a winding fade out.
