Shawn Christopher is best known for her erotic vocal on the 1989 Lil’ Louis track “French Kiss”. Her solo project in the house genre of the late 80’s been a success and gave new light to former vocalist from My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult. “Another Sleepless Night” is one of the big dance floor movers of 1990 – produced by Mike 'Hitman' Wilson. This one is ignited by many riffs and of course Shawn’s lovely and soulful vocals. It is the last time this girl will wait up for her man as you will learn. It is one of the powerful moments in house music where the ‘play is the thing’.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Another Sleepless Night” and reentered this phase and expose of direct house tags for this ReStructure Mix. There is a longer intro to give the drama more of a stage and a fade using pieces of a disco classic from the 70’s to tie it all together in a new way.
