Man 2 Man is Miki Zone and Paolo Cilione along with musician and producer Man Parrish. This HI-NRG is one of the 80’s groups with some exciting results as in their 1986 energy piece, “Male Stripper”, one of the devoted projects to the high energy scene and its growth. “Cuba” is their 1988 cover of The Gibson Brothers disco classic – produced by Man Parrish and Paul Zone. The original is transformed into a stomping electronic dance piece that is hard to resist. It plays out well as a remake and as another release from the duo it surely gives us another sound that they are known for which is energy and excitement.
I have taken the 12” version of Man 2 Man’s “Cuba” and re-worked the piece with some new Cuban percussion and effects. It is displayed here in parts where the break takes up some breathing space for that non-stop energy.
