Les Blues Bells is a Euro-beat cover of Electric Light Orchestra’s. Vocals provided by Clara Moroni and Elena Ferretti and production by Giacomo Maiolini – who helped to keep high energy music alive and transforming it into a lighter sound called Euro-beat. It was the darling sound of disco returning in electronic form. The winding keyboards and rolling bass are the recipe for this style which was titled appropriately, “girl-twirl” by my wonderful friend; Dean Ferguson is the 90’s answer to disco and high energy. This 1992 addition was fast and furious and many clubs that favored this edge. It is a great uplifting track from Jeff Lyne and ELO and one of the tributes to the happiness and excitement they brought to the 70s.
I have taken the 12” vocal, accapella and dub of Les Blues Belles “Shine A Little Love” and worked a bit more energy in this ReStructure Mix. The layout is more on the ricochet loop edits and rolling bass. A house piano break is added for a taste of ano9ther style of successful music of the time.
