ReStructure Mix Update (5/2/23): “Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Brian Davis

Brian Davis is a singer who released a single titled “Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime” in 1991 – produced by Jean-Yves Galmiche and F. Ferry. The track was produced in France and has a Euro-house feel with the resonance of a Stock Aitken and Waterman project. A simple groove that uses more of the breakdowns in percussion and keyboards to build on the energy. The focus of the song relays the lessons learned in a relationship which has gone astray. The single was released as the lone release from Brian Davis and did well for the club play in the proper programming.

I have taken the 12” version of “Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime” and created a new ReStructure Mix to give this mid-tempo piece a new stage. The added percussion is intended to spice up the rhythm and give the message a bit more recognition. The Four Tops make a cameo here also.
