Lydia Steinman is a disco singer from the 80’s who released her cover of Diana Ross’ majestic classic, “Touch Me In The Morning” in 1985. Produced by Jimmy Brown – this electronic production is a percolating energy version with a set of lyrics and choruses that could not go wrong. This one rings several great bells of opportunity to convert this classic into an 80’s dance piece. The sequencers make up most of the foundation of this arrangement and the keyboards are simple yet effective. All in all this is a diva song where this diva makes it work for her cause.
I have taken the 12” version of Lydia Steinman’s “Touch Me In The Morning and reworked it for another chance and ReStructure Mix. Percussion tracks are added to give a slight punch and a re-alignment of verse make this tribute new and exciting.
