ReStructure Mix Update (12/31/23): ”Streetwise” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – B-Art

B-Art is a Belgium Beat group featuring David Morley, Errol Jones, Jean-Pierre De Vylder, Jeroen Dejonckheere, Renaat Vandepapeliere, and Rony Brack. Their 1989 single “Streetwise” produced by Renaat Vandepapeliere is a house track which they delivered with a slick arrangement and lead vocal from Jean-Pierre De Vylder. A nice piece of evening candy outlining the nightlife and its energy and excitement. This song was released on the new-beat label R & S Records from Belgium and gives this band a crossover capability in this effort. A big dance floor packer for me.

I have taken the 12” “Ghentlon Mix” of “Streetwise” and revisited the piece with this ReStructure Mix. Adding a new beat track and percussion to give it a new feel. Elements of the vocals are chopped and diced to work as new portions of this mix.
