REISSUE: "I'm Here Again" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Thelma Houston

REISSUE: "I'm Here Again" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Thelma Houston Thelma Houston is a gift from the 70s. Her talent has given soul/R&B and disco music a lift for lasting emotion in many of her recordings. Her career in the industry began in 1969 with her LP "Sunshower". In 1976 she created a window for disco music with her Grammy award winning cover of "Don't Leave Me This Way" (originally recorded by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes in 1975). "I'm Here Again" revisits a similar sound and feel with more of Thelma's magic - it is from her 1977 album "The Devil In Me". Produced by Brenda and Michael B. Sutton. Although this track and her prior year hit are along the same sound - there is a wonderful sound here again. I have taken the 12" version and have given it another spin with some ReStructure Mix elements including a new intro and exit. The original has a great build - even though my focus was to introduce the song with a wall of the beautiful strings and tambourines. Requested from Nick and Lindsay - you wonderful boys make the music more than it is - that in itself is a gift! Thank you - and this is for you both.
