REISSUE: “Gimme Love” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Shy Rose

REISSUE: “Gimme Love” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Shy Rose Shy Rose is a cover name for singer Valeria and is one of the mid-80’s productions to keep the high energy vein moving on dance floors. Produced by Antonio d'Addezio and creating some of the most loved dance tracks which leave no excuse for a concerto synthesized piano and plenty of rolling percussion and bongos assisting. The big points in high energy in this vein in as sexy as Donna Summers’ “Love To Love You Baby” on steroids. “Gimme Love” is from 1989 and is a cover of Cerrone’s 70’s classic. This full on electronic production gives a satisfying reedition with more of a drop beat rhythm and Shy Rose’s soft and subtle vocal lighting up the sweetness. The original release also credits Toney D. and The Lovetrip Orchestra. I have taken the 12” version of “Gimme Love” and stripped it away from the medley for this ReStructure Mix. I have reversed the arrangement with the strings starting out the need and more loops and breaks taking you to the climatic closing.
