REISSUE: “Never Let A Day Go By” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Cerrone

Cerrone is the man who developed disco into a European flavor that took he dance floor and music into a new realm. His work has always been respected from dance floors to connoisseurs of yesterday and even more so today. “Never Let A Day Go By” is a single from his 1989 album “Way In” and features Jeff Posseto on lead vocals. This lovely song has echoes of the Stock, Aitken and Waterman feel that was topping the lists of this period (ala Donna Summer’s “This Time I Know its For Real”). There is an irresistible flair to this one and does play out as a beautiful Cerrone piece and reminds us that talented artists survive in many arenas.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Never Let A Day Go By” and created a new weaving ReStructure Mix using some of Cerrone’s well known past markers. A loop in and loop out edit are the chances I took on recreating a new experience.
