Brooklyn Dreams are Bruce Sudano, Eddie Hokenson and Joe Esposito. A trio who introduced to disco music a blue eyed soul sound along with the emerging dance scene in 1977. Their 1980 single “Shake It” was featured on the motion picture soundtrack for “Foxes” along with tracks from Donna Summer, Jani Ian, Cher and producer Giorgio Moroder. Brooklyn Dreams calls to order a funk-protrayal in the disco electric mode. A great energy piece with a keyboard riff which takes on a resonance on the dance floor like magic. The production from Giorgio gives it a tight message which plays out with moving results.
I have taken the album version of “Shake It” and worked the key-riffs into a few new segments to slowly work into this cooker and ReStructure Mix. The edits on keyboard segments make a dub-like sound for the boys to work their energy into.
