Pet Shop Boys are Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant – a duo who set the 80’s into dance mode once again with many of their projects. “Heart” is a single released in 1988 and is a tour de force of their music and style. This love song reaffirms a partner the love which brings a sigh of happiness and transforms segments of the song into a sampled and unforgettable melody. The vocal is Neil reciting as a standards crooner would but in his own delivery. The electronic dance tracks marks a time where Pet Shop Boys were at the creative genius and preserves their magic well.
I have taken the 12” dance version and instrumental of “Heart” and reinvigorated the track with this ReStructure Mix. The intro is a bit more mysterious and lends to a more direct approach. Several new breaks are added to get this message across.
