Cheryl Lynn is one of the great voices of soul, disco and inspirational music. There was an impact of her presence in the late 70’s not only with a disco hit but also as a unique voice and delivery. Her second project titled “In Love” is a session which gives her pipes range experimental boundaries. Along with producer Barry Blue does this recording make history as proof to the talent this woman possesses. “I’ve Got Faith In You” was written by Bobby Caldwell (“What You Won’t Do For Love”) and is a statement for Cheryl in more ways than one. The track is worked with a rhythm bass guitar and opens up many exciting moments for this diva. One of my many favorites from this project and from the lady herself with a nice impact delivered with her own style.
I have taken the album version of “I’ve Got Faith In You” and was thrilled to piece this one over again for a ReStructure Mix. There is a new beat track to pump up some of the segments for the new arrangement and a breakdown for an exit.
