MCL is Microchip League who created an electric-dance current in 1987 with their single “New York” produced by Axel Henninger and Westside. Their project titled “Code Numbers” contained several genres including industrial and new beat. “Don’t Blame It On The Samba” is their single from 1990 which has a more commercial edge and also freestyle beat in place. It is infectious piece that contains some killer Spanish guitar riffs and a wonderful lead vocal from Frank S.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Blame It On the Samba” and rewired this track for a new ReStructure Mix. Adding some new percussion and using the existing guitar riffs as a new base for the remix.
