ReStructure Mix Update (2/16/24):”Let It In (Rock)” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Caution

Caution is a disco project from Jorge Barreiro and Roy Bermingham. This appropriately moving track is homage to the 70’s rock sound with the distorted guitars pouring out energy during the breaks. The vocal sounds a bit like “Leather Tuscadaro (Suzy Quatro)” to me – but works well with the edgy rock sound placed over the disco bass line and beats. This one may have been the introduction as the early 80’s as it became a more experimental time for dance music. This single from 1980 is a definite stamp of the time period and a moment of sheer genius on the Roy B. Record label.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental versions of “Let It In (Rock)” and rewired the electric guitars for this ReStructure Mix. The new intro uses the awesome bass track to bring the “party’ in with some new gasoline.
