ReStructure Mix Update (3/19/20) “Satisfy” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Soif De La Vie featuring Lyma Russel

Soif De La Vie is an interesting band featuring Christian Krusch, Helmut Wittler, Leo Walter and Oliver Hardt. Their venture into electronic dance music began in 1980 and in a four year timeline released 4 singles which best known is the high energy song, “Goddess Of Love” from 1984. Each of their singles features a guest vocalist where Rosay Wortham on “Goddess Of Love” was the instant success of the ensemble on dance floors due to its fast paced sequencers and drums pounding out the energy. “Satisfy” is the groups release from 1985 and features Lyma Russel on vocals which again emphasize the strength of the band when placed with a great vocalist. This mini-anthem plays out as our heroine yearning for a love connection roams the night. It is group’s powerful productions with the percussion and dance elements conquering below the fabulous vocal.

I have taken the 12” vocal and dub version of “Satisfy” and recreated a new arrangement for this ReStructure Mix. The intro is a fade on as an anthem desires and the percussion is used throughout the new mix with more layering.
