REISSUE: “Saturday" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Norma Jean

REISSUE: “Saturday" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Norma Jean
Dedicated to Alan - the song that changed all of our calendars. Produced by the CHIC Masters, Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards and features their fantastic guitar ensembles. This production was one of the most innovative with the lead guitar intro into the heavy bass foundation. By adding Norma's mellow and effective vocal to the recipe makes this a hit by even today's standards. A great outline for the disco movement and our need to escape into a fantasy world of excitement.

REISSUE: "Saturday Night, Sunday Morning" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Thelma Houston

REISSUE: "Saturday Night, Sunday Morning" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Thelma Houston Thelma Houston's "Saturday Night, Sunday Morning" is a big part of disco music's history. It was originally released in 1978 on her "Ready To Roll" LP and then again with a remix by Larry Rossiello on her "Ride To The Rainbow" LP. The track is a fabulous outline of disco nightlife and the morning after. It is also one of Thelma's most memorable vocal performances. More of a early evening or after hours track this was is always pleasing. I have ReStructured the song only to bring it back again and add a few new surprises with already evident keyboard riffs and bongo tracks.

REISSUE: "Saturday Night" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - T-Connection

REISSUE: "Saturday Night" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - T-Connection Funk and disco are the drive behind T-Connection - Theophilus Coakley, Kirkwood Coakley, David Mackey and Anthony Flowers. Their 1976 track "Disco Magic" gave them a spot on the dance floor which brought together a soulful band approach with the lighter side of disco elegance. "Do What You Wanna Do" from 1977 is a classic embedded on mirror balls everywhere. I have ReStructured their 1979 power track "Saturday Night" and planted a few pump beats here are there to break down the verse and chorus into a funky dance experience. The same LP titled "T-Connection" also contained the equally popular track "At Midnight".

REISSUE: “Saturday Night” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Lauren Grey

REISSUE: “Saturday Night” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Lauren Grey Lauren Grey is an 80’s high energy artist from Chicago who released several dance singles on Dice Records. “Saturday Night” is Lauren’s 1986 release – produced by Tom Weisser. The 80’s dance sound moved in a full electronic production and many independent artists had the ability to hit the stage with more of the underground dance energy. “Saturday Night” is a funkier track from Lauren and gave a new appeal for this high energy chanteuse. I have taken the 12” single version of “Saturday Night” and worked some of the components which ring out in this funky mechanism. This ReStructure Mix uses a familiar rhythm track to bring out more of the weekend that is calling us to release all we’ve got.

REISSUE: "Saturday Night" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Arpeggio

REISSUE: "Saturday Night" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Arpeggio Arpeggio is a disco group created by Simon Soussan (Shalamar, Pattie Brooks, The Sharonettes, Charisma, Romance) during the height of disco music in 1978. "Love and Desire" is the first successful project - displaying Soussan's sound that he developed with earlier artists and his band members. "Saturday Night" is a cover of Bay City Rollers 1973 pop-rock hit with a nice disco curve. It features a orchestrated arrangement with plenty of breaks and percussion pieces, which Simon was so well as creating. I have taken the album version and created a whole new arrangement using the "stomping" effect as the emphasis on the tracks charm. It is one of those peak hour songs the requires only a free soul and willing feet! Dedicated to Mr. Simon Soussan himself!

ReStructure Mix Update (2/28/20) “Robot Is Systematic” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – ‘Lectric Workers

ReStructure Mix Update (2/28/20) “Robot Is Systematic” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – ‘Lectric Workers

‘Lectric Workers are Franco Rago, Gigi Farina and X. Monneret – an Italo-disco project on Discomagic Records who released their first single, “Robot Is Systematic” in 1982. The single is one of the early Italo-disco tracks which became instrumental in both innovation and energy. It was picked up by San Francisco’s premiere DJ Subscription service and featured a remix by Steve Algozino (of Zino “Walk Away Satisfied”). The song uses a strange array of keyboard riffs and short interludes – very reminiscent of Trans-X’s “Living On Video”. An Italo-disco classic which one who desires the weaving of rolling bass sequencers and 50’s sci-fi scores a must.

I have taken the 12” version of “Robot Is Systematic” and reworked a new programming for this ReStructure Mix. I have added a familiar 80’s riff to the foundation to lend a bit more excitement and also approached the arrangement in a whole new way.

HERE-HEAR-HERE COMES THAT SOUND AGAIN! ...and again and again and again!

REISSUE: "Don't Stop" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Motion

REISSUE: "Don't Stop" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Motion Motion is a Canadian production from Gino D' Orazio and Tony Bentivegna - a production team who also brought to dance floors, Blue Lazer, Ladies Choice and Nightlife Unlimited. The changing sound of disco music in the early 80s became electronic and infused with the keyboards which introduced a new technology of sound for the period. "Don't Stop" is from Motion's first LP and was one of their most memorable tracks - it has a rolling bass sequencer that is the main formula for most of the projects of the time but work best with the infectious chorus and simple yet effective vocal. This ReStructure Mix breaks the song into many spots and adds a longer break arrangement. My attachment to this song came during a time when disco and high energy were being reintroduced to a whole new dance crowd.

REISSUE: "Shot In The Night" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Paul Parker

REISSUE: "Shot In The Night" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Paul Parker Paul Parker is a disco/dance artist who began his recording career alongside producer/artist Patrick Cowley during the dance music resurgence in the early 80s. His big club hit, “Right On Target” is the proof and long tern standing of the power of his vocal and music longevity. I have taken his 1983 track “Shot In The Night” from his “Too Much Too Dream” project and have given the 12” remix a ReStructure Mix to bring the track new life. It has a longer intro with extended drums from the original track and also some added pieces from Patrick Cowley’s classic “Menergy”. This ReStructure Mix is dedicated to Mr. Paul Parker – who continues to bring us his wonderful sound even today.

REISSUE: “Palace Palace” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Who’s Who

REISSUE: “Palace Palace” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Who’s Who Who’s Who is a disco project from Daniel Bangalter (Daniel Vangarde) who also brought us productions from Gibson Brothers and Ottawan. The studio group is the sound of the high-beam of disco music where every effective element in both production and mix are utilized. A cymbal crash for a new electronic energy at the peak of disco history. “Palace Palace” is from their 1979 album and was a huge club hit with dance floors still moving as fluently to disco music as underground music during the early 80s. A great disco hall hit with lots of energy and breakdowns of simple riffs making them hypnotic and booty-shaking. I have taken the 12” version of “Palace Palace” and created a ReStructure Mix adding a new feel to the arrangement – focusing on the ricochet loops and a few new breaks. It is a salute to those disco instrumentals which kept the floor moving over and over during those hot sweaty nights of disco pleasure.

REISSUE: “Lisa, Lisa” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Body Heat

REISSUE: “Lisa, Lisa” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Body Heat
Body Heat is a disco project from producer Teneen Ali. Their 1982 single “Lisa, Lisa” is one of the high energy pieces on Canadian label J.C. Records (for Jerry Cucuzella) which was an early sign of high energy music be coming of age. This piece has a sensual femme overtone of voices and sexy chorus innuendos. A disco approach with the right formula of rhythm and percussion. I have taken the 12” version of “Lisa, Lisa” and reworked a ReStructure Mix using the fast paced rhythm segments to a new pace. More of the sensual elements are placed in breakdowns and build-ups to energy. One of the big opportunities here are the excitement which high energy and disco music create.

REISSUE: “You’re A Beat” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Eastbound Expressway

REISSUE: “You’re A Beat” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Eastbound Expressway Eastbound Expressway is a disco group created by producers Ian Levine and Fiachra Trench from 1979 featuring the disco orchestration which these two genius minds created for dance floors. The group began as disco chorus on their first album and during the high energy period of the early 80s became a trio for an electronic drum and keyboard edge which many productions were using. “You’re A Beat” is the high energy peak for Eastbound Expressway in the 80s full-on synthetic disco production. It features Jocelyn Phillips and Karen Freeman on vocals and explodes from start to finish. It is a mark for high energy and the Levine and Trench sound which kept many feet and hearts moving in the 80s. I have taken the vocal and dub version of “You’re A Beat” from the 12” single and revamped a ReStructure Mix adding a few new elements to lift the energy again. There is a new arrangement for the new percussion loops to play out through the fading finish. A salute to high energy again!

ReStructure Mix Update (2/27/20) “Fools Are Friendly” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Xclusiv

ReStructure Mix Update (2/27/20) “Fools Are Friendly” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Xclusiv

Xclusiv is a UK disco project from British producer Jeremy Paul who also produced Nick Straker Band’s “A Walk In The Park”. “Fools Are Friendly” is a track that follows a mode of 80’s electronic songs that fit into a segment and sound of either early evening playlist or after hours. It moves slowly yet envelopes the ears and mind with its percolating sequencers and story which plays out as a mislead romance falls into tragedy. Almost a disco counterpart to soul music’s “What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted”. The rolling feel of the song make it a bit hypnotic and mysterious and fits into a category I always admired.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental and recreated a new ReStructure Mix for a new act on this underground classic. More rhythms are added to bring the track and it’s EQ up to a slight more energy.

REISSUE: "Magic Dancer" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Tamara Tamara (Tamara Lorincz) is the voice behind the classic disco hit, "(Everybody) Get Dancin'" by Bombers from 1979. Her solo LP "Magic Dancer" is one of the early Canadian disco gems of the 80s. Produced by Vincent Ciambrone - who also gave us Boogie People, Debbie Wilson and Valdaro. Tamara's title "Magic Dancer" is a roaring high energy/disco number that is powerful beyond belief. This one was a huge hit in my club after a few plays during peak hour. It remains one of my favorite early 80s dance tracks and is one of those songs once I start humming I cannot get it out of my head. This ReStructure Mix takes the LP version and re-edits and segues the big parts of this "mover" - for another chance to create some magic. Thanks to Tamara Lorincz for her kindness and also for sharing her talent with disco fans everywhere. This mix is for you, Tamara!

REISSUE: "Disco Choo Choo" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Nightlife Unlimited

REISSUE: "Disco Choo Choo" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Nightlife Unlimited The Canadian disco explosion was a during the mid and late 70's when a formula had been extracted from years of dance floor action - it was obvious that the break was no longer added - it was essential. Bands like Nightlife Unlimited created dance floor pieces that were with every aspect of disco in mind. It was then that scattered percussion and synthesizers were in song and not just the mix itself. "Disco Choo Choo" is from the LP "Nightlife Unlimited" from 1979 - produced by George Cucuzzella and Peter Dimilo of Erotic Drum Band success. I have taken "Disco Choo Choo" and given it some news "tracks" to ride on - adding a couple of snippets from the fantastic soundtrack of the 1976 adventure film, "Silver Streak" by Henry Mancini. It is a disco flowing trip!

REISSUE: "Hot Wax" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Mother (F)

REISSUE: "Hot Wax" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Mother (F)
Denis Lepage is Mother (F) - he was the Instrumental for many Canadian high energy classics in the early 80's (ex. Carol Jiani, Chris Mills, Voggue) as well as the genius of Lime along with Denyse Lepage. The classic sound of the 80's dance scene was a deliberate electronic arrangement taking disco music into the 80's with a new emphasis on percussion and recording. Lepage certainly helped to modify this new sound with his music and innovation. "Hot Wax" is a very well known instrumental that rings familiar with Lepage's recordings and yet holds the essence of it's own. I have taken the track to give it a new ReStructure Mix which is more of an edit taking parts and pieces of this solid beauty and scrambling it into a new arrangement. Using some of the keyboards and percussion to invoke a new rendition.

REISSUE: “You Make Me Feel The Fire" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Claudja Barry

REISSUE: “You Make Me Feel The Fire" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Claudja Barry Claudja Barry has taken the dance floor many times with numerous disco hits that continue to bring us back to the sheer energy and passion of a true diva. Her stance began in 1976 with "Sweet Dynamite" under the production of her husband Jurgen S. Korduletsch. In the late 70s her hits became infused with the electronic wizardry that disco music began to emerge with - "You Make Me Feel The Fire" is her 1979 follow up the the prior years big hit, "Boogie Woogie Dancin' Shoes". "You Make Me Feel The Fire" brings a pop-rock edge to the rousing track that pushes and pushes under the climatic chorus becomes ominous. This is a true power hit for its time and utilizes the rock edge wonderfully with the sequencers right behind. I have ReStructured the track using the original 12" single and made way to more breakdowns, new drum tracks and a few pieces added for some new energy.

REISSUE: “You Make Me Feel Good" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Ann Joy

REISSUE: “You Make Me Feel Good" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Ann Joy Ann Joy is a disco artist produced in Canada by the the master of disco percussion, Mr. Peter DiMilo. This project was released in 1980 and featured a cover of Giorgio & Chris' "Love Now Hurt Later". Ann displays the favor of the classic disco chanteuse - with plenty of sexy notes and emotions. "You Make Me Feel Good" is a track off of the album which displays the sound of DiMilo's classic drums as we heard in his Erotic Drum Band projects. My ReStructure Mix takes pieces of a couple of DiMilo classics and adds them to the new edit and production. Dedicated to Mr. Peter DiMilo in thanks for making the dance floor go 'BOOM' in the late 70s. An experience that can never be replaced or forgotten.

ReStructure Mix Update (2/26/20) “You Fooled Me” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Grey and Hanks

Grey and Hanks are Len Ron Hanks and Zane Grey. This duo was most known for songs written for L.T.D., Jerry Butler and Jean Terrell to name a few. In 1978 they ventured into recording their music and adding to the disco realm and soulful blend of disco tracks. “Dancin’” was their big hit from 1978 and gave them a standing which lead to “You Fooled Me” which is from the album with the same title. This one is the disco blend of funk and soul which brings the 70’s to a head for the completeness of the dance floor. A nice production that lingers on with plenty of guitars and percussion to make the disco rhythms complete.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental to recreate a new ReStructure Mix to outline this classic sound. More downbeats are added to give the new edit more drive and energy.

REISSUE: "Rub-A-Dub” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Passport

REISSUE: "Rub-A-Dub” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Passport Passport is a jazz ensemble by Klaus Doldinger in 1971. The group uses a jazz fusion along with pop elements to plant a venture into a sometime rock-edged feel. Their 1980 album “Oceanliner” featured a single titled “Rub-A-Dub” which caught my attention with its energetic kick track and playful riffs that blend out of their unique style. This one always used during tea dances at the right time had the dance floor jumping in the air. It was a nice piece that never did any dance charting but is nice to hear as an underground choice and now remix. I have taken the original 12” version and reworked this piece into an extended ReStructure Mix which strips away much of the instrumentation to make way for the foundation of electronic and percussive effects which rock out in a jazz sense as well as give this a nice instrumental for those all-nighters who want to be awaken again when the sun comes up again.

REISSUE: "I Love My Radio" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Taffy

REISSUE: "I Love My Radio" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Taffy Taffy is Katherine Quaye and producers Claudio Cecchetto (Sandy Marton, Tracy Spencer, Sabrina) - both created an Italo-disco classic from 1985 which took clubs by storm and had dancers bouncy joyfully. It is one of the well-known dance tracks from the mid-80s and even today brings back wonderful memories to many - as the lyrics suggest! I have taken the 12" version from Flarenasch Records (Italy) and have given it a new ReStructure Mix to give praise to one of the happiest and wonderful moods of disco music. I have added a few surprises and new breakdowns to enhance the experience! Whoa-whoa-whoa" - dance on!

REISSUE: "Pop Musik" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - M

REISSUE: "Pop Musik" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - M
At the end of the disco era there were many impressions left with this period of technology and dance being an area that seemed to effect everyone. Robin Scott under the name of M, took all of the trends and rolled it into one nu-wave/disco track - "Pop Musik". It was ingenious! This song leaves many with the memory of crossover from disco to a full electronic dance era. It is appropriate even today with technology moving very quickly and touching us all. My ReStructure Mix adds some new flavor and a whole new emphasis on "Pop Muzik" - it was one of those tracks that pulled me into the realization of what disco music was becoming. A great time period. Dedicated lovingly to my sister, Lolly - one of favorite songs and also one jam she would love to dance to. For you, Lolly - enjoy!

REISSUE: “Street Talk” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Gino Soccio

REISSUE: “Street Talk” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Gino Soccio Gino Soccio made the end of the disco era a need for an ambient and abstract sound which was only beginning on his first project, “Outline”. The early 80s were the movement towards an electronic dance sound which Soccio embraced in his own creative mind. “Street Talk” is from his 1981 album titled “Closer” and follows a synthesized metal sound with a touch of the nu-wave lightly sprinkled with distorted sounds joining a funky vocal from Erma Shaw. The track is a notable one since it gives his percolating and ambient feel a full on effect. One of the hidden gems from his many genius productions. I have taken the album version of “Street Talk” and revamped the outline with a new arrangement and accenting the ticking percussion which keeps the rap here moving. The dreaminess is embraced with a few drop out breaks and some phasing. One of my favorite styles of Soccio in a new package.

REISSUE: “Everybody” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Madonna

REISSUE: “Everybody” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Madonna
Madonna began her dance career as a dancer for Patrick Hernandez (“Born To Be Alive”) and eventually led to an incredible recording, performing and film career. The first clue we ever heard of this was a single released in 1982 titled “Everybody” produced by Mark Kamins and featured no image of Madonna on the sleeve. If her title was not provoking enough for more there was a bigger force heading our way. The track was a simple electronic dance number which scored very high with dancers and DJs. Learning more about this 80s talent was an experience for all. “Everybody” became one of the street dance hits to help dance floors prepare for another decade of pop-synth dance music with more attached. I have taken the 12” vocal and dub version of “Everybody” on to the ReStructure Mix image and sound to recreate a beat driven arrangement focusing more on the experience that Madonna was breathy about. This one strips away the riffs and elements that make this one a heavy duty classic and prepare a whole new dish.

ReStructure Mix Update (2/25/20) “Non Stop” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Patrick Hernandez

ReStructure Mix Update (2/25/20) “Non Stop” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Patrick Hernandez

Patrick Hernandez became a household name is discotheques following his big 1979 disco anthem “Born To Be Alive”. Patrick performed his hot track in his unique and gentlemanly deliverance for audiences around the world bringing attention to his artistic approach to disco music. “Non Stop” is a single released in 1982 – produced by Jean Vanloo and parodies life as a pinball machine in a rhythmic sense. The impact is a bit less than his “home is where the heart is” message in “Born To Be Alive” but for the 70’s pinball craze it is a disco philosophy for dancing only.

I have taken the 12” version of “Non Stop” and created a new ReStructure Mix using many of the riffs I found attractive. It pumps longer in the areas where the groove can work the song and gives way to a fade with new drums and effects.

REISSUE: "Agent 406" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Lime

REISSUE: "Agent 406" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Lime Another big instrumental piece from the fingers of Denis LePage of Lime. This comes from the first album titled "Your Love". The track is similar to much of the keyboard work of LePage in the early 80's working with talented artists such as Carol Jiani, Chris Mills and much of his solo work ("Hot Wax"). However, the classic cowbell percussion track always provided a great foundation for his free will. "Agent 406" wraps a layer of dynamic strings and the model keyboard that worked for Lime during the early years. I have ReStructured the track giving it longer intro to the orchestral pieces and added few effects to give more excitement to the story occurring on the dance floor. Dedicated to Lime ans everywhere!

REISSUE: "Right On Target" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Paul Parker

REISSUE: "Right On Target" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Paul Parker The 80's dance scene may be the most exciting in dance history. Many musicians were performing music from what they gathered from the orchestral productions of the seventies and fusing electronic keyboards for a more simplistic feel. Patrick Cowley began weaving his futuristic sound in music by Sylvester and many remixes he was creating with a few disco artists in the late disco boom of the seventies. In the 80's he began creating music for vocalist he felt suited his music well. Paul Parker is among the highest of his achievements. Parker was a male singer who made each song his own with his powerful vocals. "Right On Target" is the first of his solo releases and probably the most memorable. It moves in every directions striking the "target" each time. This ReStructure mix is dedicated to Paul Parker for bringing so much to dance floors and at the right time. The arrangement is populated with many more breaks and pieces of mix-effect to create a whole new feel for this classic.

REISSUE: "Hot Hot (Give It All You Got)" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Debbie Jacobs

REISSUE: "Hot Hot (Give It All You Got)" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Debbie Jacobs Debbie Jacobs brought dance floors to the hilt with her classic disco tracks "Don't You Want My Love", "Undercover Lover", "High On Your Love" and "Hot, Hot (Give It All You Got)" in 1979 and 1980. Big action there. I have taken "Hot Hot (Give It All You Got)" and given it a makeover - ReStructure style. The lush strings, kickin' bass, and funky guitars have always made me throw my hands up ion the air! This one is dedicated to Debbie Jacobs herself - a truly wonderful soul who continues to entertain many even today with more of a humanitarian purpose - but the party feel will always be there. Thank you, Debbie.

REISSUE: "Earthquake" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Flirtations

REISSUE: "Earthquake" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Flirtations Thanks to Paul of New York - this 80's high-energy classic is brought to the ReStructure table! Produced by the UK producer, Ian Anthony Stevens (Charade, Hazell Dean, Marsha Raven, Dee Dee Martin, Jessica Williams) who mixed and put forth a massive list of dance hits during the disco reassemble of the early 80's. An important time to prove that "Disco" was not dead. This classic is reedited to produce the same excitement that it did during it's release. Very mild yet moves so eloquently!

REISSUE: "Nobody's Stopping You" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Peter Batah

REISSUE: "Nobody's Stopping You" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Peter Batah Peter Batah is a Canadian disco artist from the early 80s with two powerful dance floor hits. “Rock Me Now” was released in 1980 and was produced by Claude Allard – the following year was his single “Nobody’s Stopping You” produced by Joe LaGreca and the arrangements identifiably Denis LePage of Lime and many high energy projects of the period. This heart wrenching track in a powerful outcast of a lover who has worn out the threat of leaving – and the time has been reached where no regrets are near. I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental and created a ReStructure Mix which extends the synthesizer patterns and ominous percussion tracks to add more definition to the heartbreak and strength to end what is obviously done. More chances to move in new direction on the floor also.

ReStructure Mix Update (2/24/20) “Kiss Me Again” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Dinosaur

ReStructure Mix Update (2/24/20) “Kiss Me Again” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Dinosaur

Dinosaur is Arthur Russell and Nicky Siano – a duo creating an alternative disco track titled “Kiss Me Again” from 1978. Vocals are provided by Myriam Valle who was a member of the band Desmond Child and Rouge (“Our Love Is Insane”). This one always reminded me of the 60’s Janis Joplin styled track that utilizes Russell’s cello solos and a guitar accompaniment from David Byrne. A heavy dose of dreamy and induced love where the desperation becomes the essence of a moody rock track or an early morning dance song. It plays out in a memorable fashion and has always been one of my favorites from the period which helped to create a new direction for alternative funk and disco.

I have taken the 12” version of “Kiss Me Again” and created a new ReStructure Mix with a new intro and some pumped up bass lines. The dreaminess of the track is intact so that the original flow can work on its own again.

REISSUE: "They Came At Night" by Patrick Cowley - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

REISSUE: "They Came At Night" by Patrick Cowley - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Patrick Cowley marked a period in dance music that will live on throughout disco history. His 1982 project being his finale tribute to the techno-disco arena - "Mind Warp" is an LP featuring the track "They Came At Night". The song is an excursion into the sci-fi would of invaders from outer space that slowly move onto out world. It is the perfect soundtrack for the 1978 remake "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers" starring Donald Sutherland, Brooke Adams, Jeff Goldblum, Veronica Cartwright and Leonard Nimoy. The original "Body Snatchers" was released in 1956 and features Kevin McCarthy and also in the cameo the remake. The film was directed by Philip Kaufman The concept makes perfect sense to me in that any life from outer space would not be in a form that we are traditional stories and beliefs. Featuring scenes from "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers" - RENT THE DVD! Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Produced by Ken Emmons
