ReStructure Mix Update (2/24/20) “Kiss Me Again” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Dinosaur

Dinosaur is Arthur Russell and Nicky Siano – a duo creating an alternative disco track titled “Kiss Me Again” from 1978. Vocals are provided by Myriam Valle who was a member of the band Desmond Child and Rouge (“Our Love Is Insane”). This one always reminded me of the 60’s Janis Joplin styled track that utilizes Russell’s cello solos and a guitar accompaniment from David Byrne. A heavy dose of dreamy and induced love where the desperation becomes the essence of a moody rock track or an early morning dance song. It plays out in a memorable fashion and has always been one of my favorites from the period which helped to create a new direction for alternative funk and disco.

I have taken the 12” version of “Kiss Me Again” and created a new ReStructure Mix with a new intro and some pumped up bass lines. The dreaminess of the track is intact so that the original flow can work on its own again.
