REISSUE: "Saturday Night" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Arpeggio Arpeggio is a disco group created by Simon Soussan (Shalamar, Pattie Brooks, The Sharonettes, Charisma, Romance) during the height of disco music in 1978. "Love and Desire" is the first successful project - displaying Soussan's sound that he developed with earlier artists and his band members. "Saturday Night" is a cover of Bay City Rollers 1973 pop-rock hit with a nice disco curve. It features a orchestrated arrangement with plenty of breaks and percussion pieces, which Simon was so well as creating. I have taken the album version and created a whole new arrangement using the "stomping" effect as the emphasis on the tracks charm. It is one of those peak hour songs the requires only a free soul and willing feet! Dedicated to Mr. Simon Soussan himself!
