ReStructure Mix Update (2/15/20) “What’s She Got” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Liquid Gold

Liquid Gold is a disco band from United Kingdom and includes Ellie Hope, Franco Morruzzi, Ray Knott, Syd Twynham and Wally Rothe. The production from Adrian Baker is one of the big sounds of the late 70’s disco era which united the pop-edge of dance music. Lead vocalist Ellie Hope is one of the definitive parts of the band and it’s magic. “What’s She Got” is a single released in 1983 and is produced by Rob Davis and Tony Taverner – this following the new era of disco/dance music where more of a down beat was being emphasized. The track was a popular one among many clubs that were still invigorating the disco sound as well as the new Italo-disco wave.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “What’s She Got” and re-pieced together the rhythm and percussion sections for this ReStructure Mix. It has been reedited with more of the drive and energy in mind.
