ReStructure Mix Update (2/28/20) “Robot Is Systematic” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – ‘Lectric Workers

‘Lectric Workers are Franco Rago, Gigi Farina and X. Monneret – an Italo-disco project on Discomagic Records who released their first single, “Robot Is Systematic” in 1982. The single is one of the early Italo-disco tracks which became instrumental in both innovation and energy. It was picked up by San Francisco’s premiere DJ Subscription service and featured a remix by Steve Algozino (of Zino “Walk Away Satisfied”). The song uses a strange array of keyboard riffs and short interludes – very reminiscent of Trans-X’s “Living On Video”. An Italo-disco classic which one who desires the weaving of rolling bass sequencers and 50’s sci-fi scores a must.

I have taken the 12” version of “Robot Is Systematic” and reworked a new programming for this ReStructure Mix. I have added a familiar 80’s riff to the foundation to lend a bit more excitement and also approached the arrangement in a whole new way.
