ReStructure Mix Update (2/16/20) “Cold Turkey” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Chris Mills

Chris Mills is a Canadian disco singer whose album from 1981 echoes the high energy sound that was created by Joe La Greca and Denis Lepage. This electronic production is similar to the big sound that was changing the face of dance music in the early 80s by artists like Vera, Carol Jiani and Lime. “Cold Turkey” is from the self-titled album and was written by Denis and Denyse Lepage and gives Chris an opportunity to display his soulful edge to heartbreak and his moments following the demise of a relationship. This one pumps out like an electronic street- track with a keyboard arrangement that gives way to the drama. A nice piece of synth-pop with the 80’s energy sound fused in.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Cold Turkey” and reworked the beats, bongos and vocals into a ReStructure Mix. This re-edit adds a new bass beat to pound below the motorized percussion with more of the tracks instrumental used as breaks and to the songs layout.
