The first sight of "disco" for me - and it was a Gregg Diamond production. What an initiation to a great sound!
Funky and chic was the essence of what was called "boogie" music during the early and mid-70's. Diamond's flawless horns and piano arrangements create a great feel and moving rhythm. Add Andrea True's sexy vocals and you have "disco"! This was probably the first 45 I ever treasured and to take it on the cutting block is a challenge - I offer a dub-like cut with that great piano playing over-and-over for your feet to move to.
