L.T.D. is Abraham J. "Onion" Miller Jr., Alvino Bennett, Andre Ray, Billy Osborne, Carle Vickers, Henry Davis, Jake Riley, Jeffrey Osborne, Jimmie Davis, Johnny McGhee, Leslie Wilson, Lorenzo Carnegie, Pondaza Santiel and Tobie Wynn. This band hit a vein in the dance floor in 1977 with their big hit “Everytime I Turn Around) Back In Love Again” - produced by Larry Mizell & Fonce Mizell. “Dance ‘N’ Sing ‘N’” is from their 1979 project titled “Devotion” and is their anthem to disco music during its peak. The track features the lead vocal of Jeffrey Osborne which was a recognizable feat from the ensemble and always seems to mold a hit. The ongoing words of celebration for the activity on the dance floor make this song sure it has landed in the right place.
I have taken the 12” version of “Dance ‘N’ Sing ‘N’” and placed another job for this number for this ReStructure Mix. The break from the original is used as a bridge to several moments where the energy is fused again. Also a whole new arrangement for the placement of the messages in the song.

ReStructure Mix Update (8/29/25): ”In A Gadda Da Vida” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Disco Circus
Disco Circus is a production from Jurgen Korduletsch - who also brought us Claudja Barry, Lipstique, Gaz and Suzie and The Cubans. The group consisted of the Munich disco scene who were well outlined on where disco music was headed during 1978 when the album was released. A disco cover of Iron Butterfly’s “In A Gadda Da Vida” is one of tracks from this project and gives the rock classic a sweetened flavor with the female disco ensemble panting out the now sensual style in the 70s disco flavor. The electronic production works hard to recreate a lighter edge on the song and the percussion gives the piece its groove.
I have taken the album version of Disco Circus’ “In A Gadda Da Vida” and re-rocked the ReStructure Mix. Using elements of the original Iron Butterfly version along with loops from the disco version I have rearranged and replayed the song once again.

ReStructure Mix Update (8/28/25): ”Golden Eldorado” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Voyage
Voyage is a French produced disco ensemble who dominated the underground dance scene in the late 70s. Produced by Marc Chantereau, Pierre-Alain Dahan, Slim Pezin and Roger Tokarz the band created music using themes and sounds from around the world and uniting them on one dance floor. “Golden Eldorado” is a track from their second album from 1978 titled “Fly Away” and is a mysterious song outlines "the golden one" or "gilded" in Spanish, referring to a fabled South American city or country of immense wealth sought by early Spanish explorers. Performed in the mood of an old camp fire story told by the experienced. This one has the great guitar and horn work featured in many Voyage productions and is the peak of the European disco sound. A great wind down energy with a few rustling choruses to close the show.
I have taken the album version of “Golden Eldorado” and used the original tracks by embellishing them in this ReStructure Mix. A few new places give way to breakdowns and a final close is added.

ReStructure Mix Update (8/27/25): ”You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) - The Ultimix Version” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Sylvester
Sylvester is one of disco music’s breakout artists who quickly became an adored stage figure and connoisseur of his catalogue. The track “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” is from his second project released in 1978 titled “Step II” - produced by Harvey Fuqua and Sylvester. The single quickly became one of the tickets to his fame during the disco era. The song is backed up by Martha Wash and Izora Rhodes (Two Tons ‘O Fun) and contains Patrick Cowley’s early work as an artist in the electronic disco genre. His added energy is one of the factors in the success of Sylvester’s career. One of the most incredible parts of this track are the vocal segments where he takes the song on several flowing movements and crescendos where the mirror ball even holds on.
I have taken the 1989 12” Ultimix of Sylvester’s “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” - the 12” version, dub and acapella and appended the original hot pieces to a bring this ReStructure Mix the excitement which it delivers again - remixed and produced by Bradley D. Hinkle and Les Massengale.

Savage is Roberto Zanetti - an Italian disco artist who was a promising title in the early 80’s new style of disco music - appropriately named “Italo-disco”. “Only You” is his 1984 single which created a path for his somewhat moody yet romantic sound. The track utilizes his keyboard talents weaving a groove which plays out like a robotic opera. The modulation of effects and layering create a powerful sound which brings to mind influences by Giorgio Moroder from the 70’s and 80’s bands like Yazoo. The tale here is a simple love song stretched across a horizon of strong beats and a wonderful vocal.
I have taken the 12” vocal and dub version of “Only You” and worked the two like a new pattern for this ReStructure Mix. A use of the original beats and bass sequencers lend a new feel throughout this remix.

ReStructure Mix Update (8/18/25): ”Cry” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Godney and Creme
Godley and Creme are Kevin Godley and Lol Creme - both former band members from the group 10cc. In 1977 they began recording under their new title and their 1985 single “Cry” became one of their most memorable tracks. The moody song is the peak of heart break and the consequences which follow. It was written by the duo and performed in a classic arrangement which seems to echo the pain of a relationship ending and all elements dissected. One of the big after hours tracks for me in the remix which was released and produced by Trevor Horn (Art Of Noise).
I have taken the 12” remix of “Cry” and rearranged it for this new ReStructure Mix. There is a lengthy introduction to bring in the beats earlier and more predominant.

Herb Alpert takes on the pop-dance world in his 1987 project “Keep Your Eye On Me” and along with Janet Jackson and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis is “Diamonds”. This hard beat flowing number is one of the exciting tracks from this year. Janet along with Lisa Keith provide the stance for ladies to demand the shine up front. There is a great polish to the song which gives Herb an opportunity to play along with his trumpet accenting the groove in and out of its peak. One of the Jam/Lewis “diamonds” and a continuance of Janet’s solo career to make herself stand out and over the pop -world.
I have taken the 12” vocal, dub and instrumental of “Diamonds” and reshined the track for this ReStructure Mix. Taking an original stage version of “Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend” in the arena for some fun and a new structure.

Giusy Dej (Giuseppina De Iacovo) is a Italo-disco project from 1984 and is one of the electronic productions which takes the sequencer patterns into a new realm. “Walking In The Night” is an artsy electro-vibe track which began as a street beat outline along with the accompaniment of Giusy short explanation of relationship troubles. The remix by Flemming Dalum creates a hardcore instrumental which would shake the rafters of any club in its execution. One of the Italo-disco pieces which may have been overlooked however disco audiophiles who search for that Moroder-like influence may have taken this one under their arms as a treasure.
I have taken the 12” original mix and remix of “Walking In The Night” and worked on this ReStructure Mix. The layering of pieces in each version creates a new place for this wandering piece. A touch of that street beat influence are the finale touches to embellish in the original.

Jade 4U is a new beat project from producer Maurice Joseph Francois Engelen and features artist Nikkie Van Lierop. Their 1988 project “Jade’s Dream” which features new material following her successful singles released in New Beat compilations. “Rainbows” is a moody track which plays out with hardcore percussion pounding out a ritual for Jade 4U’s passages. Resembling an early morning song in the wind down or morning peak set this one has several identities in this genre. The hypnotic feel is the real magnetic force behind this release and leaves a nice trail for Jade to follow.
I have taken the 12” version and instrumental of “Rainbows” to outline a new waking sound for this ReStructure Mix. Most of the effects are pieces of the vocal track or pieces of bass track to add a new arrangement to this mini-anthem.

Murray Head is an English actor and singer who took part in the production of “Chess” - a stage production with music written and produced by ABBA’s Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. “One Night In Bangkok” is a single from the soundtrack and was released in 1984. This outline details the underground city which offers many choices in either dark or fulfilling areas. The track became an instant hit on dance floors and also thanks to the creative video. Bass sequencers help plug the rap-like approach to vocals here and make this one a unique take on a theme which is among the “purest”.
I have taken the 12” version of “One Night In Bangkok” and reworked the track for this new ReStructure Mix. I have broadened the mix to incorporate more of the instrumental pieces and bass sequencers to guide it into a new realm.

ReStructure Mix Update (8/10/25): ”Killer Machine” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Laser Cowboys
Laser Cowboys are an Italo-disco band who released four movements related to futuristic and or science fiction themes. “Killer Machine” is their 1986 release produced by Mach II and Laue. This one loosely based on the film “The Terminator” and is the outline for a group of warriors (The Laser Cowboys) sent to save the planet Earth from “Killer Machines”. The arrangement is in their electronic layering of effects and keyboard segments and with the excitement of a sci-fi epic onscreen. This one plays out with more of the firearm sound effects joining the vocoder chorus giving us the challenge building on our planet. One of the imaginative periods of Italo-disco and bringing a serial-like episode to life for us to dance to.
I have taken the 12” version of “Killer Machine” and enforced the battle again in this ReStructure Mix. I have added a futuristic computerized beat-thump which may sound familiar and also taking the segues into the mix fully placed.
